We can provide you with a natural and well-defined nasal balance that suits you.

The nose, located in the middle of the face, greatly influences the impression one makes. It is the part of the face that shapes the person’s atmosphere through a combination of various factors such as height, nasal alignment, size and opening of the nose, etc. The ideal nose is not one-size-fits-all, and each patient has his or her own goals. It is no exaggeration to say that the ideal nose is not one-size-fits-all and that each patient has a unique nose to achieve. In addition, the balance with the eyes and lips is also very important, so rhinoplasty requires an objective point of view and an aesthetic sense. At our clinic, we offer a variety of rhinoplasty techniques.

Ideal for those who have these problems

  • Height of the tip of the nose
  • Shape of the bridge of the nose and the tip of the nose
  • turning one’s head to the side of the nose
  • cauliflower-shaped nose

Rhinoplasty

prosthesis

A “prosthesis” is a medical cartilage. It is safe to be inserted into the body for a long period of time because there is no risk of deformation, deterioration, or allergies. It is easy to design, so a natural and ideal nose shape can be achieved.

Removal of prosthesis

Removal is possible when the skin has become thin due to aging, and the contour of the prosthesis appears prominent or otherwise troublesome. It is also possible to remove the prosthesis if the patient is not satisfied with the results or feels discomfort at other hospitals.

prosthesis replacement

At the same time the prosthesis is removed, a new prosthesis is placed that is best suited for the patient.

Rhinoplasty (tip of nose)

Recommended for those who wish to have a thinner, sharper nose tip and to have it oriented in the right direction. A refined nose will give a more refined impression of the nose and the face as a whole. Combined with rhinoplasty, the ideal nose design can be achieved. The incision methods for rhinoplasty are largely divided into “closed” and “open” methods, which are used according to the shape of the patient’s nose and the nature of the surgery.

Rhinoplasty (closed method)

This method involves making separate incisions on the left and right sides of the nose along the nasal wing cartilage from the inside of the nose in a line close to the nostril margins. It has the advantage that the scar is not visible.

Rhinoplasty (open method)

The incision is made by connecting the lines.

While this makes it easier to perform the surgery while understanding the internal structure, it also leaves a scar on the nasal bridge. However, the scar on the nasal bridge is sutured in an inverted V-shape or staircase so that it is less noticeable. Our surgery is performed by a team of highly skilled plastic surgeons from Keio University, so scars can be minimized.

Nasal Wing Reduction

Nasal wing reduction (lateral resection)

Suitable for patients with overhanging nasal wings and thick skin in the nasal wing area that makes the nose appear larger. Excess skin is removed and the overhang of the tail wings can be reduced. We remove the excess skin along the groove on the outside of the nose and suture it so that the scar will not be noticeable.

Nasal wing reduction (medial resection)

Suitable for those who are concerned about the width of the nose. The inner part of the nose (near the entrance of the hole) is excised and sutured to make the tail wings look more neat. The scar is not visible because the suture is done inside the nose.

We also offer revisions after surgery at other hospitals. Please consult with us first.

Flow of treatment

Medical Examination and Counseling

Our experienced doctors will examine the condition of the nose, bone structure, and skin thickness. We will carefully listen to the patient’s wishes regarding the desired shape of the nose and the image of the finished product, and propose the best possible design.

Anesthesia and treatment

Anesthesia is administered and each surgery is performed. Laughing air and intravenous anesthesia are available, please consult us.

removal of sutures

Stitches are removed approximately one week after surgery.
